Moderate exercise is an important part of a healthy pregnancy and there are many benefits associated with including stretching, strengthening and low impact fitness into your week. These benefits vary but many women report feeling more comfortable in their pregnancy, say they sleep better and some say it helps with aches and pains.
When can I start?
Classes are suitable to attend from 15 weeks pregnant until full term. Always best to check with your LMC before you start any exercise as they know your history and can advise you properly. If you are fit and healthy and currently active you may even be able to start earlier with approval from your LMC please have a chat and arrange this with me. Get in touch.

Yes you can! Classes are designed for all levels of fitness and experience. The programs are designed so you can take things at your own pace and exericises can easily be modified depending on how you are feeling on the day..

Total Barre is a method of exercise that combines Pilates, Ballet, strength training and low impact cardio and uses the ballet barre for stability. Do I need to be a dancer or bring a tutu?
No dance experience required! In fact I am not a dancer. I am a pilates and Total Barre instructor who loves to move to music and can't always keep time, so no worries if you are off beat, going up when we are going down, it doesn't matter! Also, you can leave your tutu at home!
Where are you located?
Classes are taught in two locations in East Auckland. All mat classes are taught at 29 Granger Rd in Howick and the Barre classes are taught at 6/1 Canon Place, Pakuranga.
